Hello and Welcome

Postby dflorin on 27 Mar 2008, 12:42

Hello everyone,

I am Florin, from Romania, the author of the podcast. I have put up this forum in order to assist you with your learning and also to give you a space where you can ask anything about the Romanian language, practice it and meet others who are interested in learning the language.

I have seen there are already over 40 subscriber to the podcast, so feel free to register here and become active. This will help you improve your Romanian language skills a lot.

Good luck and hope to see you here soon!
Florin.

Hi Florin, and thank-you for all your hard work in making these podcasts available. I'm Ken, from the U.S., originally from New Orleans and now living in Los Angeles. I have an undergraduate degree in linguistics, enjoy the study of romance languages and am particularly intrigued by the language, music, history and culture of Romania. Thanks again for your time and effort, and also for making yourself available for questions in this forum.

It's nice to meet you,
Ken

Hi Florin, and everyone else here,

My name's Ian and I live in Scotland. I've got involved with a charity that does some work in Romania and recently went to spend 2 weeks there (in Sinaia) and was also lucky enough to get a few days in Bucharest. I'll be going back to Sinaia and hope to keep improving my Romanian.

It's a really great service you provide here Florin and I'm very grateful to you for it. It made a real difference before I went and helped me enormously.

All the best, and looking forward to getting to know you better.

Ian

Salut, Florin!

Buna Florin and everyone.

I have just had an opportunity to register for the forum even though I have been downloading the Podcasts since lesson 2. Thanks for your hard work Florin I am enjoying learning Romanian. I am currently doing my Masters in Applied Linguistics (TESOL) and I felt I should lead by example and learn another language like my students are.

Pa pa.
